Seguin Tx 2011

OK, I'm back. Sorry for the lapse. I'm going to try and pick up where I left off. I still am passionate about helping the elderly, socially and economically disadvantaged while at the same time enjoying and sharing lifes great moments. 2011, Jobs, or the lack of jobs and weight loss seem to be at the top of the list for January. I hear the News media reporting about how things are getting better, but I don't see it. It seems like everybody is still driving around in a brand new shiny cars and the eating establishments are full. Everybody who is associated with the new home industry is still in a coma. There seems to be jobs available or what you would call "Be grateful you have work jobs".

Taco Bell (Where's the beef?)

I've have eaten at Taco Bell for 40 years, I can remember 25 cent tacos on Sunday and my favorite was a BellBurger that isn't made anymore. For the last decade or more I 've noticed that the ingredients have slowly dissapeared. I work pretty hard for my money and don't like throwing it away relating to a recent experience at Taco Bell. This article isn't about the two tacos that they forgot to put in my bag at the drive thru, but rather the ground beef that is advertised in the pictures and what you actually get when you order a crispy taco. I guess the profits of shorting ingredients ends up in the pockets of the owners at the expense of the consumer, the sad thing is that most of us don't really notice, or do we?

H1N1

It was just reported that 80 million Americans have been infected and 16,000 have died from the Swine Flu. These numbers are scary, when there was just a couple of cases in Cibolo Texas everybody was freaking out. Should we be worried?

5 month wait for food stamps?

I read an article in the KWED daily news yesterday about an agency that offers free legal help for families in need of food stamps.

Agenda 2010

Ok, it's a new year and I got to get my feet wet with this blog stuff for a couple of months now. I really enjoy reading other blogs and the concept of only talking about positive things is commendable in today's living with so much negative going on around us but,
